Former Chairman Study group - Bangalore school of Economics D. Former Director sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology Bangalore (700 bedded super specialty heart hospital)As VC I Initiated UNILINK program - linking the libraries of all the state Universities for better academic experiance and book sharing amongst the students and faculties in the state. It was expected to reduce the financial commitment by 25% of the budget required for the library.I started -The Braille centre in the University that addresses the problems of visually challenged studentsI Initiated a nutritious midday meal program in the university to support the students and possibly treat malnutrition amongst the students , primarily to prevent drop outs of girl students and to supplement iron in Iron deficiency anemia.
