Generated data repository to contain data on natural disasters such as hurricanes, storm surges, wildfires, temperature and earthquakes. This repository was used in spatial analysis in assessing risk of real estate properties.Conceptualized, architected and built a multi-threaded platform that can extract data across multiple open sources, transform them into digital spatial data and ingest into Oracle spatial database.Researched, gathered information and implemented solutions for each of the different formats to convert them into spatially enabled assets into Oracle Spatial.Implemented a configuration file based scheduling system using XML that can trigger actions on various time schedules and repeat as needed.
