Responsible for the ongoing quality assurance and evaluation of the Healthy Start program services. Develop objective quality assurance measures, monitor program performance, data entry, and generate reports. Outreach to local collaborating agencies for the coordination of the Community Action Network (CAN) using the collective-impact approach for engaging the community.

This position provided support to Center for Disease Control and Prevention grant promoting healthy communities and reducing violence rates in at-risk Richmond communities. This was achieved while working with city residents and community partners to improve our capacity to overcome issues that affect the health of youth. Job duties included:*Assisting and working closely with the PI on all research and departmental activities.*Responsible for data management, conference presentations, data analysis and grant development.*Additional responsibilities include conducting staff meetings and training, recruitment of participants, and connecting youth and families to evidence-based programs. *Working collaboratively and effectively with a diverse team setting.

This position provided support to a federally funded project evaluating the impact of a prenatal care model on preterm birth. The project evaluator was responsible for monitoring of data collection, data analysis, and summarization of data. Additionally, the evaluator was responsible in providing timely report to partners and funders. Furthermore, working closely with project sitesto utilized evaluation data, monitored model fidelity and guided project implementation. Additional responsibilities included conducting systematic literature reviews to synthesize and summarize relevant literature, preparing and submitting IRB documents, and other research activities support. -Experience in epidemiologic research and behavioral intervention studiesincluding: intervention implementation, survey design, primary data collection (e.g.,focus groups, telephone interviews etc.), database creation and management.-Experience in data management and preparing data for analysis (e.g.,data cleaning).- Experience using PubMed, MedLine, or other journal/publication research systems.- Experience with supervision of all project sites/data coordinators along with day to day activities regarding project coordination/implementation. - Proficient with SAS, SPSS, and MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
