Armed with a degree in business, I joined the corporate world which I later quit to pursue my passion for food. I have been working as an independent culinary consultant and food educator for more than a decade now. I divide my time between consulting for restaurants and brands, developing menus and recipes, conducting food workshops and demonstrations, writing for food publications, etc., I have also been running a cookbook club and a food literature reading group called, “From Words to Wok” to share my love for cookbooks, food memoirs and food literature with others for over eight years. I recently moved to Bangalore after living in Dubai for eight years.
