I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Hiiragi Group at the Hubrecht Institute for Developmental Biology and Stem Cell Research. My research focuses on how distinct cell types emerge and segregate to form tissues in embryo development, and to understand how these processes translate across different mammalian species. I obtained my PhD from EMBL Heidelberg and Heidelberg University, where I investigated cellular mechanisms underlying tissue patterning. I employed a comprehensive approach, integrating cellular, genetic, and biophysical methodologies. I acquired a strong background in mammalian embryo culture, microtechnologies, and advanced imaging methods, as well as proficiency in image and numerical data analysis.
