• Responsible for providing robust computing services for both research and administrative purposes to a diverse community of faculty, staff, students, and visiting scholars for multiple MIT sites including the Laboratory for Nuclear Science (LNS), the Center for Theoretical Physics (CTP), the Bates High Performance Research Compute Facility (HPRCF) and supporting frameworks in use across MIT and at research peer sites (e.g. CERN). In particular, compute to support theoretical and experimental nuclear and particle physics as well as quantum information science, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (IAIFI), Monte Carlo simulations, data analysis, complex theoretical calculations, and high-performance computing clusters. Focused on adopting new technologies and working in concert with the technology requirements of national and international laboratories especially regarding cybersecurity.• Manage the Oracle database development team responsible for the DLC’s grants management and financial forecasting function. This includes procurement, salary charges, financial projections, account reconciliation, proposal preparation and submission (including budget preparation), reports to MIT and grant sponsors, sub-award assistance, service center billing and rate setting.• Presented a new model for MIT campus-wide research computing at the 2016 event “Collaborating for MIT’s Future” event and co-organized and presented at the Basic Research Computing in Physics workshop at CERN ( https://indico.cern.ch/event/1108229 ) .• Provide hosting for systems such as the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) compute cluster (for an experiment on the International Space Station), and infrastructure for systems like subMIT ( https://submit.mit.edu ) a physics department provided campus-wide computing service.• Awarded the 2017 Infinite Mile Award from the MIT School of Science for work performed in this position.

• Performed technology scanning for disruptive technologies emerging in the marketplace. Evaluated new technology and network designs with respect to network security for placement into AT&T’s network. Medical School, Department of Medical Oncology and Biostatistics• Developed INFORMIX and Oracle database applications in 4GL and embedded SQL within C code for users to interface with and obtain meaningful access to over 60 active cancer research databases.• Performed UNIX systems administration on the Sun workstations and servers in the department running Sun Solaris 2.4, 2.5, 2.5.1, database administration, and troubleshooting of the TCP/IP network. Performed installation and maintenance of INFORMIX and Oracle databases. Performed troubleshooting of the TCP/IP network.
