The focus has turned more toward digital imaging and graphic design with a specialty in internet technologies. Network Administrator / Webmaster

Custom Black and White Dept. Manager. Here I oversaw and/or performed all task related to custom B&W film processing and printing. I was known for attention to detail and the production of superior quality photographic prints for the demanding professional and serious amature photographer. This position required exceptional time management skills and the ability to perform under high pressure deadlines. I left the company when traditional photolab services were made redundant by advanced digital techniques and processes. I greatly enjoyed my association with this leader in imaging for Central Indiana.

At B&L Photo I worked under the tutelage of Ben Lawrence. Ben was a well respected commercial photographer and co-owner of B&L Photographers, Inc.. Along with Ray Bright they established the business following the closing of The Indianapolis Times newspaper in 1966 - where they each served with distinction in the field of news gathering and photo journalism.I was honored to work for this company for many years. I served as a commercial photographer and custom B&W photolab manager. I was doubly blessed to be active in traditional photographic arts as the digital age was ushered in. It has given me a very unique perspective on graphic arts that spans many key years. As a result I posess many skills - both traditional and modern - that contribute to my continued success and development in my chosen field.

I was a bit surprised to find no listing for Hoosier Photo Supplies, Inc. here on linked in. Particularly when you consider how they where always positioned on the cutting edge of technologies.Hopefully adding this company to LinkedIn will result in many connections with those whom - like myself - found their association with this institution a benificial experiance.I started with the company in retail camera sales in the 5151 Monument Circle Location, also worked out of the Nora Branch and ultimately worked at the headquarters on Zionsville Rd in Park 100.Alot of very nice folks. Cannot help but wonder . . .
