Initiate contracts, ITT, Commercially evaluate and award contracts and deal with all high valued contracts directly.Assure the adequacy, completeness and suitability of handled contracts through all tendering stage.Management of interface with tender committee and prepare the necessary recommendation report.Provide ad hoc advice on ITT and contracting process to all Contracts Engineer and Assistant Engineer.Meet performance standards as set by the Contract section.Coordination with consultant and contractor for interface prior to major contract award.Maintain an accurate register of all contract and WSOs agreements through the Contracts Assistant.Receive, analyse and clarify scope of work and specification with consultants/end user. Recommend Bidder list and seek its approval from the Tender committee.Prepare tender documents and finalise contracting requirements in consultation with the legal advisor, finance and user division/department where applicable.Compile tender documents and issue to bidders.Review and evaluate bidder’s clarification, commercial and technical offer, and coordinate with legal advisor, financial and user division/department where applicable.Prepare recommendation report to the Tender Committee on Tenderers/Final recommendation for award/Contract Agreement.Prepare Letter of award/Ensure integrity of the contracts process through all stages of award.Undertake post award administration and claim resolution.Evaluate, recommend and prepare recommendations Report to the Tender committee for Variation Order, Final Account and close out of the project.Assist the company’s editor in preparing the necessary submission to the Executive Council for Award, Variation Order, Final Account and Close out.
