I am a Chemical Engineering Masters Graduate from University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. I graduated in December 2015.I am currently working as a Young Leaders Program (YLP) Management Trainee at Dr. Reddys Laboratories Ltd. Previously I was working as a Process Engineer in the MSAT department at Dr. Reddys Labotories Ltd., responsible for maintaining and improving yield and quality for all products, cost reduction and yield improvement initiatives and was the Site Program Manager for an organisation-wide culture transformation initiative as an additional responsibility.Prior to this, I worked as a Quality Engineer at Moebius Precision in Lansing, MI. I led the Quality dept. and as part of this role I performed the following tasks:-- Performed root cause analysis using tools such as 8D problem solving, Ishikawa diagram, 5-why method and draft corrective actions- Was the interface for customer and supplier quality concerns- Made control plans and inspection documents- Conducted internal audits and also participated in ISO audits- Developed quality metrics (scrap%, OTD)- Used statistical tools (Gage R&R, Cpk) to analyze and improve process efficiencyI am well-versed and have excellent understanding of the major Chemical Engineering concepts. I also have a good foundation in software such as Minitab. and C++, which I have used in courses and my current job.As a student , I did projects in the fields of catalysis, energy efficiency and cost optimization. I also have previous internship experience in the process engineering, water treatment and engineering consultancy sectors. I am a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and I have also successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Chemical Examination.Through my projects and current work experience, I have built on my technical knowledge and enhanced my problem-solving skills.
