•Reporting to General Manager – Taxation••In charge of handling of Indirect tax of Specialties Business of Mylan located in Karnataka & Tamil Nadu.••Under VAT, CST & Entry tax Acts•Ensuring 100% Compliances under VAT, CST & Entry Tax. •Preparation and submission of monthly / annual returns. •Attending department’s queries, Show Cause notices- up to Tribunal. ••Under Service Tax act,•In charge of the following : •Ensure to submit monthly / half yearly returns under Service Tax•Service tax receivables (plant wise) and distribution of Service tax credit pertains to corporate office to other plants. •Compliances under Import of services / reverse charge / Joint Charge mechanism. •Attending Govt. department queries. •To visit to the Govt. Departments and follow ups for refund, etc
