• Overall responsibility includes handling the Core IT Infrastructure, technology planning, application development and IT related operations of the bank. Implementing new technology initiatives as well as preparing technology architecture of the bank to meet its projected need and to remain technological competitive in the market. • Ensure uninterrupted availability of the IT HW & SW, apps of the bank for business purposes. Conceptualize and execute strategic planning of IT facilities. Keeping IT infrastructure contemporary safe and future ready by adopting latest options. Making new software apps or modify existing for business with least turnaround time and agility.• Compliance with regulatory framework pertaining to banking, formulating & implementing guidelines on BCP/DR• Keeping IT environment secure as per bank’s/Industry IT/IS policies. Planning, supervising, monitoring and implementing IT transformation projects. Drive specific initiatives to create flexible architecture by enabling digital value preposition for internal users & customers to ensure faster product launches, richer set of exp., flexibility etc. • Manage key outsourcing relationships to ensure high quality and timely delivery at competitive pricing. Manage and supervise development of various IT applications catering to IT operations and business requirements. Develop IT for all including rural banking and support other government initiatives though system changes / change requests. • Directly reporting to the CEO & MD and Executive Directors of the Bank, by collaborating with key stake holders.

•Overall responsibility for the building and maintaining IT strategy, roadmap, controls, governance process by having an in-depth of technical understanding of enterprise and banking software / product architecture in my area. Responsible for the latest cost effective and efficient new technologies by supporting business to innovate, optimize ROI, transform & scale their business by implementing automation / digital and succeed.•Rich experience in building and maintaining relationship with senior stakeholders across verticals by establishing robust controls in tech standards & tooling / monitoring. Supervising key high value IT projects for timely delivery•Experience in dealing with changing requirement and project management philosophy to ensure that delivery can be achieved and management practice is implemented, by implementing latest technologies like Cloud, Dev Ops, API, AI / ML, Open Source, Virtualization etc. Have experience in traditional & agile SW development environment.•Responsible for guiding the implementation that the technology platforms / solutions need to implement their domain programs whether they are Infrastructure, application or data in Global & Transactional Digital Banking.•Develop partnerships with customers and vendors and contribute to the development of strategic business plans by understanding the future direction of the organization, its business and the industry. Develop working relationships with Business, IT / Component Team, Vendor Partners and Product SMEs to facilitate collaboration.•Creates technical blueprint & cost and gains agreement with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with solution design and strategic tech roadmap of Barclays.
