As head of technical in Lingerie Manufacturing, lead and worked with the technical and production teams.Responsible for introduction of all styles to production to facilitate the manufacture of 12million bras with a revenue of US $ 86 million per annum. Pre - production, setting up of new production lines, Lingerie fitting and all technical aspects from fabric to finished garments. Creating a performance-driven culture that ensured accountability and personal responsibility within production teams.Supporting lean implementation in MAS Unichela as Member of the Core implementation team.Championed and managed the quick change over unit (LEAN Project) and brought down change over time by 91%.Supervised and lead centralized cutting, molding and fabric inspection unitsIntroduced Kanban systems for material pull.Lead, developed, coached, and motivated diverse teams – in product re-engineering for a production viability, communications, risk analysis, pre- production and pilot preparation – to accomplish key performance indicators.Initiated foam molding at Unichela to successful completion of the 1st commercial production of 100,000 pairs of foam pads which developed in to a separate foam molding Unit.Expanded fabric molding from 5000 garments/day unit to a 30,000 garments/day unit.Developed the technical skills of the fabric molding unit to a product development capable production unit.Setup and commissioned a fully fledged laboratory accredited to test for M&S and Victoria’s Secrets. Facilitated the rightsizing of the carder in finished goods store, raw material store, fabric inspection, lab, molding & cutting dept. with Hey Group consultant.
