I defined an IT strategy that supported this $80M omni-channel digital services provider (providing website development hosting, order management and fulfilment) for B2B/B2C retailers including Toys R Us, Army & Air Forece Exchange, Navy Exchange, Natural Partners, Dressbarn, Justice and Lowes. Hired following a period of rapid client onboarding and acquisition – the company struggled with a gap between delivery commitment and fulfillment. I gained buy-in and executed a $17M IT roadmap designed to close the gap through the development of a 24/7 global delivery organization. To achieve this, I led e-commerce and IT organization expansion 3.5X to 140, instituted governance and established 3 distribution and call centers across the U.S., Mexico and India. I directed a 35% cost reduction effort that included IT infrastructure cloud migration, right-sized resource restructure and business line sun setting. I further increased revenues via creative means by generating $1M in IP sales and $1M through SLA service rate renegotiations.

I stood up Dell’s $10M service organization that facilitated this hardware provider’s market entry into the service provider arena, and developed a ground up strategy and roadmap that grew its standing to become the #1 business solution provider in the Education market. Through persuasive business case articulation, I secured funding and formed partnerships leading to the development of an interactive SaaS solution piloted across K-12 schools and Higher Education universities – that earned Microsoft’s 2012 Solutions Award.

I led the creation of an remote management application service that integrated Dell hardware with Perot’s software systems and successfully marketed to wide-ranging industry C-Level Execs from Healthcare to Government. In 2010, Dell acquired Perot Systems. I drove the direction of the overall architecture and technology roadmaps, and led an IT consulting team that customized the development and delivery of solutions to enterprise-level accounts throughout the duration of 9- to 18-month engagements. Worked across Dell and Perot business units creating synergies for growth, defining overall architecture direction and technology roadmap, aligning solutions across client projects, establishing product roadmaps and leading new business development efforts..

120+ GLOBAL ACCOUNT PORTFOLIO | $15M IT BUDGETI led the development of a $3M automated configuration management database that, in addition to stabilizing our application portfolio supporting 120+ global accounts, increased SLA and KPI data reliability, saved $2M and elevated the reputation and stature of our service delivery team. We partnered with clients in key Commercial, Federal and Healthcare verticals to understand their unique industry drivers and regulatory compliance issues, and to spearhead customized solutions from idea-to-implementation.To contain costs and increase margins, I saved $3M via contract renegotiation, and expanded billable service hours 15% by uncovering opportunities and articulating cases for new offerings.

TEAM OF 13 ACROSS U.S. AND INDIA | $2M IT BUDGET As a technology account strategist, I grew SOW revenues 13% ($15M) across 5 accounts – by capitalizing on untapped opportunities, and developing and defining PaaS solution architecture for wide-ranging industry clients. I directed automation projects from concept-to-delivery, including a back-end suite for Enterprise Car Rental’s freight management, reservations and rentals, that reduced operational costs. As a core member of the business development team, I co-developed a data warehousing solution that provided enhanced customer and project performance insight key to Perot’s strategy decision making.

In this first business strategy role, I evaluated technology platforms, vendors, and market potential for future service delivery opportunities. I developed cases presented before business development leadership that supported go and no-go decision making around entrance into new industry arenas. I developed and executed IT strategies and roadmaps, and hired and led teams that developed proof-of-concept across the project lifecycle – that in many cases facilitated the company’s entry into diverse industries, and partnerships with startups and established clients alike.

I further refined my technical chops as a Systems Engineer and a Senior Systems Engineer during my years with EDS. When EDS Executive Ross Perot left to found Perot Systems, I followed shortly thereafter as a Systems Engineer – and continued to ascend to technical leadership roles including Technical Lead, Technical Manager and Senior Consultant.
