I spearheaded the development and implementation of various technological solutions for examination software and network infrastructure. My technical expertise includes extensive knowledge in developing applications using VB6, MS SQL Server, Crystal Reports, and understanding C/C++ and Oracle Developer 2000. I designed webpages and websites using Flash 5, Dreamweaver 8.0, and Adobe Photoshop CS, and conducted statistical analysis using EPI Info 6.0 and SPSS.I administered and maintained operating systems such as MS DOS 6.22, Windows 9x, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows NT 4.0, with limited experience in Red Hat Linux, SCO Unix, and OS/2. My role also involved configuring and maintaining CISCO routers (1500, 1600, 1700, 2500, 2600, 2620, 2811) and Catalyst switches, as well as configuring Enterasys high-end switching circuits like Horiszon, Expedition, and Network Management System.At Inavit, I handled and developed examination software, processed entrance exams, conducted All India Entrance Exams for private universities, and planned campus-wide WiFi networks. My leadership and technical skills ensured the successful execution of these projects, significantly enhancing the efficiency and reliability of examination and network systems for our clients.

As the Technical Officer (IT) at KLE University, I have been instrumental in defining and executing the technological strategy for the university. My role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including the development and management of IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless network operations across a 103-acre WiFi-enabled campus that includes multiple colleges and a medical school. I have implemented advanced technologies such as biometric authentication for entrance tests, digital libraries, and CCTV systems. Additionally, I have overseen the telecasting and live streaming of TV channels and the development of a robust Data Management System.My duties also involve maintaining the WatchGuard System Manager, ensuring multi-WAN load balancing, and managing uninterrupted internet connectivity. I lead a team of 24, delegating tasks and ensuring the efficient handling of daily IT-related issues. I am committed to continuous learning and the integration of new technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency. Furthermore, I have designed and implemented training modules for teaching and non-teaching staff, fostering a tech-savvy environment within the university. As a Network Manager Consultant for RTI, Int Ltd., and an IT Support Engineer for JNMC – UMKC Women’s and Children’s Health Unit, I have effectively balanced dual roles over the past 8 years. At RTI, I implemented and maintained networks using a range of Cisco routers, switches, and Linux-based servers. I developed and managed software for data entry and transmission, ensured smooth data transfer across remote sites, and produced detailed reports using Crystal Reports and SPSS. Concurrently, at JNMC – UMKC, I maintained and troubleshooted networks, provided desktop support, and led a team of 14 support staff across multiple colleges. My responsibilities included training researchers and non-technical staff on data management systems and new Microsoft applications, ensuring seamless IT operations in a research-focused environment. My dual roles showcase my expertise in network management, software development, and IT support, contributing to enhanced operational efficiency and data management in both organizations.

As the sole Computer Engineer at KLE's J N Medical College, Belagavi in 1997, I developed and implemented several critical software systems that significantly improved the college's administrative processes. I led the development of the Admission Software, Hostel Management Software, and Miscellaneous Fees Register, utilizing VB5 for front-end design and MS SQL Server/MS Access for database development. My responsibilities included studying existing systems, coding, testing, and interacting with professors, accounts officers, hostel superintendents, wardens, and office clerks to manage data and generate various reports. These projects, each spanning 2 to 6 months and involving a team of six, streamlined the management of student records, fees, hostel information, and miscellaneous charges for MBBS, BPT, Pharmacy, MLTC, and Post-graduation courses, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and accuracy.
