• Instructed and set up laboratory classes as a teaching Assistant for CHEM-330L (Advanced Analytical Chemistry), CHEM-122L (General Chemistry II), and CHEM-121L (General Chemistry I) along with and tutoring hours and office hours for undergraduate students.• Trained students and new TAs to handle the auto titrator, Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, UV-Vis spectrometer, Fluorescence Spectrometer, pH meters, Redox electrodes, HPLC, and GC-MS.• Maintained the instruments in the instrumental analysis lab and made sure they are working perfectly before the lab starts by working with the director of instrumentation for troubleshooting.• Set up tests as well as class and home assignments for CHEM-330, CHEM-122, and CHEM-121 labs, provided grading assistance of lab reports consistently and efficiently.

• Synthesized semiconductor nanoparticles, TiO2, ZnO, CdSe, and CdSe/ZnS.• Characterized the semiconductor nanoparticles using DLS, XRD, XPS, UV-Vis, Fluorescence spectroscopy, SEM, TEM, AFM, and EDS.• Detailed study of formaldehyde in non-aqueous methanol solution using FT-IR, ESI and NMR.• Fabrication of Pt and Au ultramicroelectrodes (UMEs) of sizes 25 µm, 10 µm, 2 µm and 600 nm using benchtop method.• Electrodeposition of 2D Platinum and study the effect of evolved hydrogen and chloride ions.• Deposition of a thin layer of SnO2 on platinum UME and study of photoelectrochemistry and tunneling properties of the film.• Detailed study of photoelectrochemistry of single entities of TiO2, CdSe, and CdSe/ZnS.• Carried out troubleshooting and routine maintenance of most of the instruments in the lab including but not limited to KLA Tencor profilometer, Optical Microscope, Potentiostat, glovebox, DLS instrument, and Laser devices.
