Responsibilities:Bond Monitoring: We monitor and analyze a large number of corporate, municipal, territorial, agency, mortgage and government bonds on the criteria such as their rating, call dates, maturity, yield, insurer and reporting to the overseas Portfolio Managers. This involves usage of Bloomberg, Reuter's knowledge, Morningstar Direct, Factset, First Rate Advisor etc. for research of information and fetching data related to Fixed Income bonds (Municipal, Corporate, mortgage, money market, preferred stocks etc.), Private equity, Hedge Funds and other alternative investments of the portfolio at Account level and Book level (i.e. the total fixed income holdings under the review of a single Portfolio Manager).Investment Performance reporting: Update the investment return and compare the returns with the Benchmark.Independent Research: To assist our overseas Portfolio Manager in taking informed decisions; we do independent research on various companies and funds. Reporting the company results, recent business performance, merger & acquisitions development, new business highlights and any significant development. Preparing and analyzing report of industry trend and impact.
