After completing my master’s degree, I had an opportunity of internship with the Blue peak constructions.This industry experience allowed me to apply the knowledge from my Master’s and Bachelors degree.It also helped me familiarise with Australian markets and standards.During this internship my role was to liaise with the project manager/ estimator to quantity takeoffs, requesting quotes from the multiple subcontractors and stakeholders.Projects vary between 12K to 300KMy overseas experience also helped me lot in regards to core knowledge in estimating the quantities in project and submission of the tender of local government projects.I learned the meaning of the leader while working within a team project and successful completion of the project.
