Bringing GenAI to educational institutions

Tech lead for the product platforms team, charter includes license provisioning, tax, third party developer experience and integration. Led the transition of a 10+ engineer charter from US to the Bengaluru site.

Worked across several domains, including ETL into Hadoop, data compliance, and retention of data on HDFS, backend APIs for LinkedIn's messenger, building a PaaS offering on Azure to securely integrate LinkedIn's economic graph with other enterprise datasets, and migrating on-prem infrastructure to Azure.• Spent a couple of years building Gobblin, LinkedIn's open-source data ingestion framework. I developed capabilities in Gobblin to set up retention policies for various datasets on HDFS, including time-based, version-based, and top-k-based retention policies.• Next, I led the backend team for LinkedIn's InMail. I designed and led an 8-member team in the migration of 20 Billion+ messages to a new backend/database. I also designed a solution to migrate without downtime for members, handling concurrent updates at scale.• Led a multi-year project to migrate the team's infrastructure to Azure. The project involved a team of 10+ engineers actively working for over 4 quarters. I collaborated with 25+ engineers spanning multiple teams and orgs , identifying opportunities for leverage, collaborating on synergies, and influencing their roadmap.• Consistently identified gaps in infrastructure systems and convinced teams of the value these features bring to the rest of LinkedIn.• Took on the role of tech lead for the ingestion team. I redefined the team's charter to scale. We pivoted towards becoming a platform for data ingestion, rather than owning and managing each dataset being ingested. I prioritised the automation of new dataset onboarding.
