Project : Ulaanbaatar Urban Services and Ger Areas Development Investment Program An urban infrastructure project fist of its kind in Mongolia with an objective of integrated improvement of the Ger areas with roads, water supply and sewerage network, heating substations and network, to foster economic development and high quality life in nomad areas. ($ 250 million funded by ADB and EIB).Tasks; (i) Proactively assist the PMO on all procurement matters and ensure all necessary steps are undertaken for timely implementation of procurement packages (plants, works, goods, and consulting services) for all procurement methods (ICB, NCB, Shopping, Direct Contracting) and recruitment selection methods (QCBS, CQS, ICS, SSS, etc.) according to the procurement plan(ii) Ensure that the procurement and recruitment processes are conducted in accordance with ADB's Procurement Guidelines (2015, as amended from time to time), Guidelines on the Use of Consultants (2013, as amended from time to time), Project Administration Instructions, Anticorruption Policy (1998, as amended to date), loan and project agreements; Public Procurement Law of Mongolia, and other relevant laws and guidelines. Project :TA-8555 REG: Improving Procurement in South Asia (47340-001)-Country -Nepal (on and off the field) Objective and Purpose of the AssignmentTo review issues related to procurement and contract management, define and recommend corrective actions for the selected infrastructure projects, train EA/IA and Nepal Resident Mission (NRM) staff on critical aspects to address weaknesses, assist for effective project administration and improve development effectiveness of the projects.Scope of WorkThe international consultant will review ongoing ADB-assisted projects and assess compliance with applicable ADB policies, guidelines and contract agreement; particularly procurement and contract management. Project : ADB PPTA-Feasibility Study for Amu Bukhara Irrigation Rehabilitation System Project Project Features :In Republic of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources with the assistance of ADB, has initiated to improve system functionality and operation the Water Resources Management Sector - is rehabilitating and upgrading irrigation and drainage infrastructure, improving basin-wide and on-farm water management, irrigation and drainage management institutional optimization and coordination study. To reduce water logging and soil salinity the Amu Bukhara Irrigation System (ABIS) project will improve infrastructure, management and institutional capacity in the Jandor, Bukhara and- Romitan districts and includes on-farm canals and subsurface drains for 21,460 ha.
