With over 12 years of extensive experience of being part of large-scale rural development initiatives across India, I have worked in the intersection of multi-stakeholder collaborations involving communities, government bodies, multilateral agencies, nonprofits and foundations. My work spans a diverse range of thematic areas, including micro-enterprises development, financial inclusion, agri and allied FPOs, training and capacity building, and community institution development etc.I am deeply committed to fostering sustainable socio-economic empowerment for underserved communities with a gender equity approach, particularly in culturally and demographically diverse regions. My core strengths lie in project execution, data-driven strategy development, facilitating collaboration among different stakeholders and secondary research. For instance, in one of my role as Resident Representative at The World Bank, I supported a multifaceted project that brought together government agencies, financial institutions, and development partners to achieve sustainable and scalable outcomes. One initiative in the project was focused on increasing access to formal credit targeting 10 million women-led enterprises across the country where I worked closely with banks, implementing partners, government agency, and technical support organizations. Currently I am working with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) with the Inclusive Financial Services wing to advance the financial services to the unserved and underserved communities.
