Looking after Contract manufacturing - Construction chemicals , RMC

a)Coordinate with Units to seek rolling plan of capex andopex requirement of (50+5 project sites) Units, and Planaggregation of requirements of several types / makes ofequipments / services b)Assist gto DH in vendoridentification evaluation with support from SME and Unitsfor technical evaluation and subsequent introduction. Thisincludes OEM / Import substitution c)Carry out periodicperformance review and appraisal of suppliers with inputsfrom Units and constructive feedback to suppliers.d)Coordinate with Units to systematically resolve rejectioncases e)Keep close interaction with industry peers/market to be abreast of new suppliers and products.f)Estimate Total cost of ownership to make final decisionof purchase g)Regularly benchmark purchase costs withindustry competitors / group companiesf)Follow up for technical review process from diversestakeholders (Unit teams & TKIC /Project Cell at HO)involved g)Assist Department Head to continuouslyimprove productivity through sustained execution ofprocess improvements h)Keep track of PR ageing, andtake proactive action incase of delays i)Maximumutilization of SAP to reduce unproductive data entry /communications / follow-upsj)Follow ups with Suppliers for pertinent issues b)Trackresolution till logical conclusion c)Influence suppliers toexpedite servicesk) Keep track of order progress periodically l)Coordiante with Unit peers to ensure timely release ofpayments M) Incase of unresolved issues, escalate thematter in time.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:• Material Procurement/ Order Placement, Enquiry Floating, Commercial negotiations & Vendor chase-up for post order activities and ensure timely delivery and coordination for after sales services.• Coordinating, communication and follow up with suppliers and inter deptts. • Exposure to working in SAP/ERP environment• Prepare project Budget schedule and estimation schedule.• Developing suppliers to achieve competitive cost, quality and delivery performance. • Assisting project incharge for preparation of RFQ in and obtains the clearance from Legal and finances. • Preparation and obtains management approvals for ordering, order drafting and obtains clearance on bank guarantee formats, contracts, LCs from legal & finance teams. • Analyzing the estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy.• Processing bills and invoices from vendors and contractors and prepares payment vouchers.• Reference checking on vendors are carried out and recorded as per procurement guidelines.• Coordinating to organize review meetings between supplier and technical team/end user.• Order amendments, post order claim settlement and LD settlements.• Annual Rate Contracts, Spare parts ordering & alternate sourcing from OEMs for cost optimization.
