Compliance is a huge undertaking for any business. Especially with the vaping industry where regulations are always changing and expanding, the challenge to keep on top and keep our products compliant with the MHRA for the UK, and MoIAT for UAE can be daunting. So it’s a good thing I enjoy a good challenge. I’ve always been passionate about learning new things and in a business where things change often, I certainly get my fill. I ensure that our new vape products are registered and complaint for the country we wish to sell in, to providing guidance to our studio team on the necessary warnings and compliance measures needed for marketing and labelling of these products. Regulations in the vaping industry are paramount because they ensure not only quality products, but the safety of products. And in the UK we are proud to say that our regulations are amongst the highest to guarantee only the most safe and high-quality products hit the market.Of course, it’s not an easy task, especially when things change, but adapting quick is the forte of Xyfil and naturally, my own. I’m both the first and last defence when it comes to compliance with our and 3rd party products, remaining alert and in-the-loop with the latest regulations helps keep our business one of the best in the UK, EU and UAE. There’s no such thing as someone else’s product to us, every brand we help manufacture or provide services for, are part of our collective who receive the same care and detail as our very own products; if not more. There’s nothing more satisfying than helping a brand reach their potential and hit the market with quality assured.This keen eye for detail has always served me well. I started my career with Xyfil as a laboratory technician with no understanding of the industry. Being meticulous, analytical, and auditing checks were coded into me early, and I enjoyed it so much that before I knew it, I’d become the Compliance Manager at Xyfil. This led to one of my proudest successes in working with Xyfil to become one of the first companies to legally sell vape products in the UAE, bringing our brand Pod Salt into a whole new territory where it continues to be the choice vape product.I truly look forward to seeing where the vaping industry goes from now on and as always, I’m prepared for any changes that are sure to come in this evolving industry, to take our products to where they are needed.
