Whenever I read books, I was always intrigued by how the upbringing of the author reflected so much in their work. For ex, Charles Dickens’ books always portrayed London as a dark and dreary place, while Jane Austen’s books romanticized the same society. Wanting to know more about human behavior, I chose Psychology, or rather as I like to say often, Psychology chose me.Never afraid to face​ a​ challenge, I believe that you can either crib about everything around you or can smile and face one challenge at a time. I started my professional journey as a business consultant - working with decision makers in mid-size firms to balance people and productivity demands. My last stint was at a product company that built online behavioral assessment solutions. Since I joined the startup at the very beginning, I got a chance to learn and transition through multiple roles - from recruitment to product research and design, customer support and delivery, team onboarding and training. Building and rolling out new products at Jombay is something I was proud to be part of. And to have seen 500+ companies use them with about 90% repeat customers, was a validity that we made something right.After a year's sabbatical to focus on my family, I chose to join a niche IT startup, One2N, where technology and learning is a passion. I believe good people can give their best if their mindspace is not cluttered with non-domain interruptions. This is where I come in. To support and grow the people side of business at One2N.When I am not looking at a computer screen, being close to nature either gardening at my home or trekking the unexplored trails is how I unwind.
