About Pragathi Katta

I'm a public health professional with a Master's in Maternal and Child Health. Through my training and work on the NIH-DC Initiative to Reduce Infant Mortality in Minority Populations, I gained experience in program develop, design, implementation and evaluation. This included writing successful grant applications, protocols, journal articles, as well as managing large teams of clinical and field workers implementing behavior change programs in at risk populations. In addition, I taught in the Masters of Public Health program. As a serious hobby I am an active and successful sailboat racer which led to my becoming a US Sailing Level 3 Small Boat Coach and a US Sailing Performance Sailing Instructor. Specialties: Health behavior and health education, program design, implementation, management, and evaluation.
