The Wasatch-Uinta Summer Field camp is a 6 week field camp for geology students from University of Minnesota-Duluth, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Illinois, and Michigan State University. I have been the Teaching Assistant for the field camp during the Summer of 2007, 2008 and 2009. My job involved leading student groups in the field, introduce them to field mapping techniques and gradually allowing them to map on their own. Additionally my duties involved assisting students with preparation of cross-sections.
