CurrentLIHEAP (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program) Project• Partnered with LIHEAP state grantees' associates, enabling data collection & research to support program performance analysis, designing surveys to gauge assistance impact, and reporting• Transformed data collection pipelines by promoting an online data collection platform, providing technical support to stakeholders• Minimized review time by redesigning data validation processes using automated Stata programs & Excel to implement consistency checks, flag issues with relevant labels for expedited manual review, and communicated documented feedback to associates for fixing data inconsistencies• Conducted market research for measuring the scope of the program, designed survey strategies for gauging the LIHEAP program's quantitative impact, and mentored research assistants with strategies to drive the participant surveys achieving high & accurate response rates for participant surveys• Generated annual LIHEAP reports & data visualizations for measuring program performance in terms of reduction in energy burden, financial & administrative cost analysis, balance sheets of state grantees, heating/cooling crisis assistance analysis, and assisted household groups analysis• Consolidated various reports along with publicly available datasets (CPS & HUD data) to generate a one-page summary report and presented the findings to Congress as 'Home Energy Notebook'CSBG (Community Services Block Grant) Project• Documented data quality issues observed while cleaning the dataset and communicated them for knowledge sharing to OCS (Office of Community Services) stakeholders, along with presenting an improved training plan for best reporting practices, thus lifting dataset quality• Enabled reporting tools & visualization dashboards for OCS by hosting the high-quality dataset on the CSBG website for reporting insights on federal performance metrics, aiding informed decision-making & program efficiency
