My professional journey has been marked by a deliberate and strategic shift from my initial role as a Maintenance Engineer in the heavy industry, specifically at JSW Steels. Despite my (diploma) engineering background and skills, I found myself seeking a change for various reasons.Having completed a diploma in Mechatronics, I took a leap into the realm of digital marketing by undertaking an online course. However, the transition proved to be more challenging than anticipated, and I faced obstacles in securing opportunities within the field.Realizing the need to stay employed, I decided to try something different. That's how I ended up as an Associate in Monitoring and Enforcement at Copyright Integrity International. Even though I initially made this move out of necessity, it turned out to be a rewarding experience. Here, I combine my technical skills with protecting intellectual property, especially in sports copyright.In this career change, I've learned a lot about safeguarding the rights of the owners in the ever-changing world of intellectual property. I find fulfillment in contributing to this important mission. My strength lies in adapting to new challenges and navigating different professional areas, and that has been a key factor.
