1. To identify, investigate and assess deterioration/corrosion of the static pressure equipment and ensure that proactive and preventive measures are in place.2. Prepare technical reports and corrosion analyses on static pressure equipment on a regular basis and during turnarounds, and confer findings with the Superintendent Inspection to ensure associated risks are addressed in the RBI and proactive actions are taken.3. Carryout root cause analysis of equipment / piping failure.4. Provide technical support and expertise to Maintenance Teams on static pressure equipment inspections, evaluations, repairs and modifications, and follow-up on critical repair and maintenance works.5. Carry out stage wise inspection of repair/replacement activities including welding, NDTs,insulation, refractory, painting and coatings for QA/QC.6. Plan and manage various NDTs (Thermography, PEC, LRUT, ECT, Acoustic Eye, LFET, Replica metallography) inspection methodology required for static asset life evaluation/monitoring.7. Support the Turnaround Inspector in activities planning during major turnarounds and ensure that all corrosion management and control preparation activities are complete.8. Ensures systematic and consistent implementation of work methods and procedures used in Maintenance and Inspection and recommends improvements. Ensures systematic update of SAP/CIMS/RBI systems.
