Prakash Kumar (PK) started his career in Jacobs (legacy Halcrow) as an Assistant Engineer in UAE and laid his career path in diversified roles witnessing the growth of Dubai in the civil engineering sector. He contributed to project delivery of various iconic projects across India, Qatar, Azerbaijan, UAE & KSA over the past 27 years. Having a multi-faceted experience, PK has impacted the ME business in Jacobs in major infrastructure, transport, ports & maritime, buildings and facilities projects working amongst teams from global offices and with several strategic Clients and Authorities. In his current role, PK serves as the Regional Stakeholder Lead and Group Lead in the Middle East responsible for Stakeholder engagement and securing approvals for projects and programs across several business units in the region. PK is renowned for his expertise in providing guidance leading to strategic business growth and successful project delivery. He has successfully delivered many challenging projects as a Project Manager building Client relationships while managing scope, schedule, budget, quality and standards.With a Highways background, PK held GID coordination role and design management in design delivery of infrastructure, highway and oil & gas pipeline projects. From the technical side, his expertise aided in design inputs for large development projects from the initial master planning studies through final detailed design, tender & contract document preparation & site supervision. His proficiency contributed to in major Infrastructure developments, rural freeways, urban and mountain roads projects, highway alignments, junctions options and detailed design, working knowledge of gas pipeline alignment design for oil & gas companies and working knowledge of construction phasing and activities. From Sales side of business, PK has extensive experience in the preparation of bids, feasibility studies, design and preparation of contract documents including detailed analysis of budget & engineering estimates for various types of highway and infrastructure projects.
