I worked in Dr.Ranjit Thapa's 'Computational Material Science Lab' on CO Oxidation and CO2 Conversion. I investigated the adsorption process, and conversion of carbon-dioxide to methanol on copper iodide surface by employing computational modeling tools like Density Functional Theory (DFT) and Vienna Ab-initio Simulation Package (VASP).

At JNTUH I was extensively trained on use of different methods for "Synthesis and Characterization of TiO2 Nanomaterials" using sol-gel synthesis methods, and characterization was done using - XRD, UV-Visible Spectroscopy, FTIR and AFM.
