The team is part of the Rec & Control team for Omnium that provides total equity reconciliation for Futures & Options portfolios for Clients against the Prime brokers. The responsibility includes daily reconciliation & distribution of breaks, perform quality check & stakeholder interaction for continuous improvement Part of the Future & Options tracks within Rec & Control team. Following up with various stake holders or brokers on regular basis to minimize fund exposure.Together build the metrics for effective measure of performance indicators and risk indicators

I am currently working for the Accounting and Pricing team.The job role invoves valuations of Traditional UK funds.Our team is currently valuing non-unitized Pension funds on a monthly basis working on the ICON platform.The team also process some of the pre-valuation transactions for unitized daily NAV traditional funds.The role involves continuous coordination with various other operations departments both internally as well as externally.I am also expected to maintain all MIS and administrative requirements of the team.

HSBC is known to be one of the worlds strongest financial institutions with presence in a gamut of product and sevices in the financial world.HSBC Security Services(HSS) deals with areas like Custody Services,CTLA and Fund administrations.In my job role as an ADMINISTRATOR within the Accounting and Valuations team, i was expected to reconcile the cash,positions,forward FX,dividend etc.held in a hedge fund,to the Prime Broker.To lialise with various departments to resolve outstanding exceptions was part of the job.I was also expected to turn this reconciliations around in accordance with the agreed timelines with the business partners and to keep them updated about any outstanding issues as well.
