I possess over 30 years of General Management experience across a range of industries including manufacturing and financial services. From 2006, I led Janashakthi Insurance through a growth phase which enabled the company to become the third largest Non Life Insurer in the country. Today, the Janashakthi Group has an asset base of LKR 80 Billion with interest in the life insurance, non-banking financial services, investment banking and real estate sectors. The listed entities of the Group have a combined Market Capitalisation of approximately LKR 15 Billion.In addition to Janashakthi, I serve on the Boards of Janashakthi PLC, First Capital Holdings PLC, Orient Finance PLC and several other companies. I am also a former Director of the Bank of Ceylon.
