• Develop, implement, and manage sourcing and procurement strategies, policies, processes, technologies, training, and key performance indicators that align with corporate and business unit strategic goals—focusing on cost reduction, quality, service, innovation, optimization, diversification, risk management, compliance, and tenure management.• Lead the commercial and procurement functions for the company, managing an annual procurement budget exceeding ₹300 crore from PR to PO including stores and inventory management.• Oversee and manage the procurement of high-value O&M contracts, including manpower, logistics, and services, for the power plant since its inception.• Collaborate with the Plant technical Team on Vendor Development and Management, including regular vendor evaluations, tracking new vendor development, and providing performance feedback.• Initiated and developed purchasing tools e-Procurement, tendering, and strategic procurement on Ariba platform. • Comprehensive knowledge of laws, policies and procedures relating to various categories of procurement including import regulations, taxation and other statutory compliance relating to material machine and manpower. • Responsible for reviewing, enhancing, and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of all procurement activities related to OPEX/CAPEX/ADMIN requirements for project and engineering, power plant maintenance, IT , Civil mechanical and Electrical packages and new development initiatives with special focus on cost saving and lowest power generation rates.• Responsible for managing the company's insurance portfolio, including policy placement, claim settlement, and employee benefits. • Representing the company in legal and contractual disputes before courts, arbitration panels, and other government platforms.
