About Prakash Mishra

I am co-founder and CTO of Wyng (fka Offerpop), a SaaS customer experience platform, and lead product management, software development, professional services, and technical support. Prior to Wyng, I founded two SaaS companies and led them to successful exits (HubDialer and Sitebridge); I led product management and software development at eGain through its IPO; and I was a full stack developer at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Bell Communications Research.I was an operating partner at Connect Capital, an early-stage VC affiliate of Insight Partners, and an early investor in Facebook, GoodData (later funded by A16Z), TransactTools (acquired by NYSE), and Kaptur (acquired by AHALife). I am currently an L.P. in 500 Global, Avatar Global Capital Partners, Converge Ventures, and Boston Common Angels, and hold four U.S. patents. I have an M.S. from CMU, and a B.S. from RPI. I live in Farmington, Connecticut with my wife and three kids. Farmington is a quiet, green town, conveniently located half-way between New York and Boston.

    At Bellcore, I was software engineer in the systems engineering and software development of Operations System Software (OSS) for provisioning and unit inventory of telecommunications services. Our team developed Bellcore CodeGen, a system that automatically generated code and DDL for OSS software, API contracts, and associated technical documentation automatically from object models (using Booch methodology and STP). Bellcore was the research and standards arm of the Baby Bells, split from Bell Labs at the divestiture of The Bell System. Bellcore was later acquired by SAIC.
