Joined the prestigious Fairmont Royal York as a Host at the Library Bar, ranked 6th among Canada's 100 best bars and restaurants. I manage guest reservations, provide exceptional service, and contribute to maintaining the bar's distinguished reputation.

My Role Consisted of: Supervising a small sales team of an iconic 5 Star Deluxe hotel, handling all the major segments to maximize revenue. Focused on converting leads into confirmed business, negotiating, contracting, payment handling and ensuring to build a relationship along the process. Ensuring a smooth flow of the various MICE events, generating business for the hotel by account servicing and upselling.

Currently responsible for driving business from the unstructured market, handing all key segments like corporate, leisure and MICE. I also happen to be closely working with BD accounts and reviving business from SME's, MSME's along with HNI's.Prior to this i have also gained experience in Group Reservations and was handing the MICE reservations for the leisure properties of The Oberoi & Trident group of Hotels.

During the 14 weeks, worked in Sales and Marketing, Front Office, Food & Beverages & Housekeeping department.Sales and Marketing –Contributed to the planning of all aspects of event management logistics, including critical path development, invitation development and distribution, registration management, event team liaison and list management/creation.Prepared Excel sheets and PowerPoint presentations, datasets, and delivered actionable insights.Converted warm inbound leads into sales through CRM.Front Office –Provided professional and personalized interaction with guests throughout the check-in/check-out process.Took ownership of the guest’s entire stay at Vivanta by Taj.Acted as a main point of information for guests and internal customers.
