Some of the projects I have worked on at Nomura:- Designed and developed a command line tool using Python allowing users to suppress alert events, reducing the processing speeds by 95%- Used Ansible to automate release procedures for internal Big Data tool PMP reducing operator intervention and errors. Designed reusable standards to allow adoption of procedures across the PMP stack.- Led the design and implementation of monitoring for applications and infrastructure of various teams like Web Technologies, Storage, Core Services and Systems Management.- Migrated all of our automation and reporting tools to a new server. Task involved carefully testing all the tools, resolving dependency issues with varying library versions, understanding and changing legacy codebases, and documenting procedures for future reference.- Recognised as SME for Splunk and internal Big Data tool PMP. Responsible for all tasks and procedures related to the tools including releases, monitoring enhancements, liaising with stakeholders and troubleshooting error scenarios.
