Leaving behind a promising career as a strategic communications consultant at a major Indian consultancy in Bangalore, I ventured into the realm of social entrepreneurship. My journey led me to establish Kirat Biotech Private Limited. Presently, our primary endeavor involves cultivating medicinal and aromatic plants across the entire region of Northeast India. Our roadmap aims for premium extract production, rooted in unwavering sustainability. We nurture both the land and our people, forging a path towards a future that's greener and extract-enriched.I am also the President of TRAAHI, a not-for-profit organization based out of Guwahati, Assam. Through our work, we create sustainable livelihood opportunities for the rural people and help mitigate climate change and biodiversity challenges. Before establishing Kirat Biotech, I worked with PR consultancies in Delhi, Bangalore, and Canada for over 20 years. I delivered on major PR campaigns for a range of clients, including Apple, Cisco, Dell, and Wipro, among others.
