Theory of structures-I

➤ Seismic resistant design, including wind loads, of Reinforced Concrete (RC), Steel Structures, and Composite structures.➤ Structural analysis of building structures based on Equivalent Static Analysis (ESA), Response Spectrum Analysis (RSA), Non-linear Static Pushover Analysis (PSA), Time History Analysis, etc. based on ACI, AISC, FEMA, IS, and Thai standards.➤ Preparation of design and analysis reports of structures. ➤ Preparation of design and analysis calculation sheets for various structural elements.➤ Preparation of reinforcement details and drawings as per the requirements and various standards➤ Analysis and design of post-tension slabs, flat slabs, and check against punching.➤ Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.

➤ Investigated the shear behavior of the RC deep beam and its strengthening using an external posttension steel rod system. ➤ Performed the experimental test of the RC deep beam and strengthened beam specimens and material test specimens in the Laboratory of Civil Engineering Department, Kasetsart University.➤ Investigated the behavior of the RC beam and its strengthening using non-linear finite element analysis in ABAQUS.➤ Assisted and Facilitated engineering students of Structural Analysis group on their academic activities.

➤ Structural Analysis and Design of low-rise residential buildings: steel and concrete structures. ➤ Site visit of the construction sites and an initial survey of construction sites.➤ Site survey of the school buildings after the Gorkha earthquake 2015 in more than 6 different districts of Nepal.➤ Quantity estimation, cost estimation, and preparation of BoQ and Bidding documents. ➤ Design of shallow foundations and RC floors.
