Project: Securities Financing Transaction Regulation (SFTR) (Aug 2019 to Present)Domain: Banking and Financial ServicesOverview of the ProjectThe SFTR is the product of work carried out by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) and the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB) to curb shadow banking. They identified SFTs as the creators of bank-like risks during and after the financial crisis period, which without transparency, prevented regulators and supervisors assessing such risks. I have been working on different modules of this project in all phases (Requirement gathering, Design, Coding, Unit Testing, and Review).Environment and Technology: Java 1.8, Micro services, Hibernate, Apache Camel, Spring, Spring Boot, JPATools Used: Eclipse, Perforce, Putty, WinSCP, JBoss Fuse ServerOverview of the ProjectThe Trax Report service provides a file (XML, CSV) and MQ Message based interface that allows clients to fulfil their regulatory reporting obligations under MiFID II. Worked on different modules of the same project that involved:Ref SI Service: Service to allow Investment Firms and APAs to submit SI Reference Data. With proper customization Bhu-Naksha can be integrated with existing Land Records application of any States that deals with textual data. It talks to other external ROR database which are mostly in MS SQL Server in implemented states. ROR database can be virtually in any RDBMS.
