Build on best of breed technologies, DSS is the multi terabyte centralized BI center of excellence for reliance retail implementing BI and analytical solutions across all merchandising categories, store formats and geographies.- Setup Business Intelligence and Analytics Division (called as DSS) from ground zero to 100 plus strong independent team. A completely in-house managed implementation, DSS involves best of breed BI solutions for ETL, OLAP, RDBMS, Enterprise Reporting, User Portal Interface and Sorting tools. Used by 2800+ users, DSS is by far the most widely used system across all business functions and formats (Fresh, Hyper, CDIT, Lifestyle, Apparel and Luggage, Footwear, Automotive, Jewellery, iStore, Timeout, Delight, Vision Express, Ranger Farm, Wellness) of Reliance Retail and is the only source of “All” retail reporting needs. - As senior technology executive, responsible for continuous technical landscape engineering, setting up standards, evaluation of new technologies, leveraging upcoming tools and technologies- Heading BI technical delivery committee responsible for deciding on best delivery approac in complex business scenarios and stringent delivery timelines- Conceptualized and Implemented Reliance Retail Operations Centers (RROC)- Responsible for operational setup, roll out and excellence

The Company, with a customer base of around 71 million including over 2 million individual overseas retail customers, ranks among the Top 10 Telecom companies in the world by number of customers in a single country. - With an ambition to create Digital revolution in India, RCL in 2001 begin a green field project of providing world class telecommunications services pan India and started offering services that span entire telecom value chain.- The BI system at RCL was build for capturing data from telecom systems like CRM, Mediation, Billing, Provisioning, Pre-Paid, ERP. Considering the diverse business needs with fast response times, a CDR (Call Data Repository) was build with real time integration from Mediation (Intec) system for capturing CDR directly from switch. With 800+ million cdr’s being processed on daily basis, the CDR repository along with Oracle Enterprise Data Warehouse layer is the key components of RCL BI system. - As Development Manager and Technical Head of DSS systems, Pramod was responsible for architecting, developing and delivering Business Intelligence Solutions usable by Business Sponsors for strategic, tactical and operational decision making.- Responsible for design and rollout of centralized BI Data Integration platform moving 6 plus terabytes of data on daily basis in Year 2003. This include designing a complex framework of systems and solutions for pseudo BI based secondary customer billing system for customer dunning and revenue protection- Responsible for building a Enterprise Reporting Platform used by 25000 users and more than 5000 concurrent users all across country. This was by far the most used operating reporting platform and a true lifeline of field staff- Being a middle management leader, responsible for staff development and motivation and ensuring that complex business delivery SLA’s are met

As part of this program, ERP implementation was decided and leading ERP SAP R/3 was chosen to be implemented. - As one of the excellent performer line managers, Pramod was handpicked and chosen to be part of this team in FICO (Finance and Controlling), and after six weeks of training by SAP experts, the SAP project team (100+ internal team and 20 sap experts) were given the responsibility of implementing SAP across all RIL manufacturing locations and corporate office. The SAP R/3 project took around 20 months to implement and based on excellent performance, Pramod was further chosen to be part of one of first standardized BI project in India in Year 2001. - Pramod’s responsibility included Business Process re-engineering, documenting and mapping newly drafted processes to ERP processes, and getting business stakeholders signoff for what became the central process bible for systems implementation- Completely re-structured the costing methodology for RIL. An optimized costing model was developed and the same was presented and got approved by Controller-Accounts of RIL. This model was then configured and developed in SAP and rolled out across RIL locations- One of first BI implementation in India in Year 2001
