About Pramod Matsyachari Sugnanamurthy
My sense of curiosity and love for computing drove me to pursue the field of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. For advanced studies I enrolled for a Master's degree in Computer engineering with a specialization in deep learning and computer vision at the University of South Florida. Projects undertaken in the course have been instrumental in building my skillsets such as training,testing & evaluating deep learning models, model optimization, effective tracking and visualization of model metrics. I have trained various versions of CNN, LSTM, GRU based models experimenting with different optimizers like SGD, Adagrad, Adam. Libraries such as Pytorch,Tensorflow,Numpy,scikit were used for implementation.My prior experience in hardware IC design industry working with industry leaders like Intel can be leveraged in this field as training models with knowledge of hardware architecture helps in optimization and reduce train/test times. With these fundamental skills my next goal is to scale my abilities to train models on huge datasets with varying complexities which I believe is necessary to become a nuanced AI/ML engineer.
