Business Unit Head- Agbara at, PARAS ENERGY, I oversee the Power and Gas businesses at Agbara.PARAS ENERGY boasts 145 MW+ of Gas-based Power Generation plants, 17 MW+ Solar Power plants, and recently ventured into the CNG business in Nigeria. My role involves handling the Power Generation & Distribution from including various generators and solar plants, and ensuring revenue growth, customer acquisition, and P&L for Power and Gas businesses.Accomplishments include successfully commissioning new power plants, revamping power distribution networks, and leading significant CNG projects, enhancing capacity and strategic partnerships. I have been actively involved in the procurement and installation of transformers, overseeing solar power projects, and constructing gas pipelines for CNG supply to group companies.Strategically, I played a key role in customer acquisition, revenue growth, contract negotiations, and financial management. The team I lead has contributed to a fourfold increase in revenue since 2019, demonstrating effective leadership and collaboration. Additionally, I have focused on compliance, risk management, and vendor development, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and fostering strong relationships with suppliers.

As Operations Manager at AFRICAN INDUSTRIES GROUP, I led the Power and Gas division in Agbara. My role included overseeing daily operations of power plants, distribution networks, and gas stations. I implemented strategies to minimize downtime, ensuring effective maintenance of gas and diesel generators, gas pipelines, and control equipments. Managing spare parts inventory and conducting contract negotiations with vendors for critical components were integral parts of my responsibilities.In international procurement, I sourced vital components from overseas suppliers, optimizing operational needs and achieving cost savings. Acting as a key liaison with Gas suppliers, I played a pivotal role in finalizing Gas Sales and Purchase Agreements and determining annual contracted quantities. Notable accomplishments include increasing power generation capacity, revamping power distribution boards, I led the fabrication, installation, and commissioning of gas infrastructure to meet growing demand, minimizing the TAKE OR PAY clause during gas contract negotiations. I ensured uninterrupted power to key companies like AFRICAN FLOAT GLASS and AFRICAN FERTILIZER, preventing critical furnace damages. My strategic decision-making significantly contributed to the operational efficiency and success of the Power and Gas division at AIG.

Spearheading and successfully executing expansion projects for AFRICAN INDUSTRIES GROUP. including overseeing operations at AFRICAN GLASS LIMITED, installing Gas and Diesel Generators, air compressors, and managing intricate systems. Revamped operations at AFRICAN FERTILIZER AND CHEMICALS NIG. LIMITED, introducing an Auto Batching system and boosting liquid silicate production. At AFRICAN WIRES AND ALLIED INDUSTRIES LIMITED, orchestrated the expansion, upgrading electrical and control systems, and supervising automation processes. Contributed to the revamping of AFRICAN HYDRO AGRIC CHEMICALS NIG. LTD, installing Gas and Diesel Generators, and implementing VFD panels. Successfully installed various manufacturing machines at WEST AFRICAN STEEL PROCESSING AND EXPORT COMPANY, optimizing power distribution circuits for peak performance.
