Onshore maintain potential project (OMPP)

Petronas RAPID PROJECT,PACKAGE -22,44 NOS TANK FOR PRPC (RAPID-PETRONAS)Fabrication of 7 mounded bullet (5000 MT) LPG Intermediate storage vessel.

FABRICATION AND QUALITY CONTROL• Studying drawings, plans or patterns of structures to be made or repaired as per requirements. • Supervising fabrication and erection activities at site for all mechanical works; eliminating redundant / obsolete processes involved in the design, development processes and working towards value-addition.• Liaising with the customer and coordinating the QC / QA services for preparation of project. • Conducting equipment, structure & material inspection and report keeping.• Monitor and implement QA/QC controls and procedure of the company as of the clients.• Arrange and coordinate with clients inspection unit all QA/QC inspection requirements prior to start –up of any welding /piping jobs.• Conduct ocular shop and field pre-welding inspection such as check of welders JCC, job approved WPS/PQR, correct filler metals, weld preparations, weld fit –ups, pre heat requirements, etc.• Arrange, coordinate, monitor and document with the independent laboratories and clients inspection all projects shops and fields NDT/NDE s requirements such as X-rays UT, LPE ,MPIs etc.• Conduct periodic short refreshers lectures on welding and fabrication (for welders and fabricators only) in accordance with the clients and industry codes, standards and specifications.• Perform welding inspection and supervision of sub –contractor’s activities including tie –INS and hot tapping works.• Initiate action to prevent occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the welding/piping works activities and quality systems.• Ensure that a quality system is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with clients and industry codes, standards and specifications.• Participate in the preparation of QA/QC Plan and inspection & Test Plan (ITP) For the Projects.• Monitor QA/QC for all welding/piping works based on clients checklist and company prepared QA/QC plan.

Responsibilities: • Preparation & Review of Welding Procedure Specifications as per ASME BPVC and applicable standard(s) / specification(s). • Design of Procedure Qualification Weld Coupons, SuperProjects Executed: Title : RS-15 Jacket Fabrication Client : ONGC, MumbaiScope : The project involved fabrication of 4 Legged Jacket (2100 MT) and Main Piles (4400 MT)Title : Refurbishment of Jack up Rig Client : Foresight Driller (FD-VII) Scope : The project involved fabrication and erection of 3 Legs (450 Feet long each), Spud Can (600 MT), Refurbishment of Hull (275 MT), Tanks Modification, Drill Floor, Cantilever, Cranes and Painting.Title : 8 Leg Process Platform JacketClient : Oil and Natural Gas Corporation LimitedScope : Worked as a Structural Execution Engineer and carried out the following tasks: Fabrication of Riser Lines, Leg Fabrication and TKY Bracing. Coordinated with sub contractor for planning, design, fabrication and inspection. Decided the fabrication sequence Identified bottlenecks and preparation of catch up plans. Handled fabrication according to drawing & codes specifications (API-RP-2A, AWS D1.1 and API-2B). Pressurized the Sub-contractor to complete job in time. Specialized Skills: Acquired knowledge of various international standards/codes as used for fabrication and Inspection e.g. ASME BPVC 2007(Section- II, Section- V, Section VIII Div.1, Section IX), AWS D 1.1, API 510,API570 ,API 598,NACE, Indian Boiler Regulations. Familiarity with Welding Processes SMAW, SAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW for a wide variety of construction materials. Familiarity with WPS/PQR preparations, Welder Qualifications.  Well conversant with NDE techniques as in line with ASME Section V. Familiar with ISO 9001-2008, OHSAS 18001 working environments.
