Research at Entropik Tech: The Objective of the Research: To determine the likelihood of Liking/sharing a video through Affect Lab Brainwave Mapping system. Hypothesis: There is a correlation between the stated mood of a person and the 1. Affective emotion metrics (Happy, Sad, Positive emotion%, Negative emotion%) 2. Cognitive metrics (Engagement, Attention, Enjoyment)measured via AffectLab. AffectLab is the platform developed by entropik tech to measure these criteria.Data Repository: Collected data for Entropik Data repository consisting of 100 advertisements and 100 trailers. With social media metrics i.e., Likes, shares, facebook emotions, tweets, retweets, etc. And measured these videos with Affectlab Platform, i.e., EEG, Facial coding, Eye Tracking. This was done to find a correlation between Social media metrics and AffectLab metrics.UX design:Have contributed the principles behind the psychological aspects to keep in mind while designing the AffectLab website.Have also contributed to the website in terms of persuading an individual to download the application and use it.Entropik tech Project:Have designed an entire workflow, with a sample size of 300 individuals and having to test 100 advertisements, 40 websites (18 banking websites for client), and also include the 2 research tests. The workflow was designed to maximize the number of testers per media.This project lasted for 10 days, 30 individuals /day.Tests were done to measure the EEG, facial coding ,and eye tracking data of all the 300 individuals and find a correlation between social media metrics, mood and the objective of the research.
