I'm a Third-Year at UC Riverside with a passion for STEM and the many ways the field can be utilized to help others, double-majoring in Biology and Neuroscience. This is illustrated with my continued involvement in Dr. Song's research lab at UCR, studying and experimenting with DNA methylation protein complexes and their abilities to modulate gene expression. I also enjoy helping out my community, volunteering at the local community hospital (RCH) near my college, interning as a member of the SCC GTZ Public Health Youth Board, as well as volunteering by the food pantry near my home (West Valley Community Services). I have also built strong leadership and communication skills through being the VP of the badminton club at UCR.Some of my current endeavors involve creating and teaching a 1-unit course -- "R'course" -- on the muscular system at UCR, as well as working as a paid Community Assistant for the 2024-25 school year at North District.
