I love taking on the challenge of a new environment and fresh projects.My current degree in management engineering introduced me to effective organization and optimization in an industry context. Ranging from the ins and outs of agile software development to supply chain and inventory issues, optimization has truly turned into a passion.My recent roles have provided me with platforms to apply my expansive theoretical knowledge to real-world corporate issues. As a research and development associate at Carta, I was introduced to the fintech space and had to quickly transform engineer onboarding procedures during unprecedented hiring due to covid. Juggling continuous development and integration on a high-priority project was an excellent way to develop my organizational skills as a project manager.My time as an IT Analyst with the Public Prosecution Services of Canada was much less fast-paced and focused on thorough problem analysis and standardizing documentation. Understanding key factors such as direct and indirect causes, affected departments, migration costs, internal/external scopes of improvement, etc. was a large focus in understanding problems. Identifying and managing all of these small factors was an excellent exercise in detail orientation and driven independent work, essential skills for effective project management.As for right now, I'm looking for another internship role this summer to continue my path of developing as a project manager. I've been honing my technical skills and am looking for a high-ceiling role where I can both learn and display everything I have to offer.
