As a part of an immense change in team structure, I became the Project manager of my sixty member robotics team. I formalized robot requirements like goals and dimensions, created plans for build schedules, testing, and driving practice, networked with different FRC teams, pioneered the implementation of Computer Vision on our robot for the first time since pre-COVID, and became elimination round alliance captains for the first time since 2017. I designed distance and object detection CV algorithms, as well as Finite State Machines that implemented PID for robot operation. I assembled a team of returning and new members to design an advanced and nuanced curriculum in all parts of robotics – hardware, software, and computer vision – to provide a holistic education for potential teammates. I have developed an app dedicated to the Scouting aspect of Robotics, providing teams nationwide with a standardized method of collecting and analyzing data.

As the Director of Student Growth at YAPA Kids, I managed a team of over 20 people. I've personally started and executed several projects to increase student numbers such as Facebook Infographics, Monthly Newsletters, Community Outreach, and Parent onboardings. I began my work with YAPA Kids as the teacher and curriculum lead of iOS Development to provide everyone, including children, with access to make an impact on society. I later became the Director of Student Growth, reaching out to thousands of parents across the world through Zoom, as well as contacting libraries and communities to spread the word about YAPA Kids. I’ve written programs to automate email communications and used the knowledge I’ve learned in Computer Science and Management to standardize practices.

I worked as a backend developer for Infiyoda Solutions since its beginning from August 2021. It was an incredibly enriching experience, from which I gained an amazing opportunity for me to apply my learning from school. I worked with Systems using the Django Rest API Framework, establishing much of the digital infrastructure for the app JollyKart365, and I enjoyed my work immensely. I developed vast resilience and maturity from my experiences here, working with people from the opposite time zone as me, and working with extremely well-qualified colleagues to gain an opportunity to work in a live developer experience. Mainly, my work focused on developing the Multi-Vendor system in the app, allowing third party vendors to sell their own items while providing a commission to us and the purchaser of the products themselves. It was a very interesting problem to tackle, and I'll take the knowledge I've learned with me everywhere I go.
