•Daily, timely technical support was given to field engineers regarding five different types of oil-free centrifugal compressors using a call database.•Closed 30+ technical requests from field engineers regarding centrifugal compressors.•Participated actively in the technical committee meeting (TCM) between 5 departments and management to discuss the site faults reported.•Created root cause analysis reports for components that failed and recommended additional steps for improvements.•Constructed preliminary versions of several documents related to services, including service kits, •Engineering Change Bulletins (ECB), Technical Solution Notifications (TSN), and Safety Flash.•Took part in 11 training courses pertaining to the product line of Atlas Copco.•Filed 50+ spare part requests to make spare parts live in SAP.•Examined approximately 50+ field return components and maintained scrap reports.•Based on importance and necessity, templates for workflow and spare component creation were prepared.•Supported the field crew with information about spare parts, manuals, and replacement parts for any broken or outdated components.
