My key accomplishments during this period were:1) Established Seller Experience Team: Started the Seller Experience function for Amazon India and established a 150+ diverse team of marketing / product / business leaders leaders in Bangalore, to own all aspects of the Seller journey.2) Scaled Amazon India to 1MM+ Professional Sellers: Scaled the Amazon India marketplace from ~5K Sellers to 1MM+ Sellers in 4 years, led by vernacular/mobile experiences built for Indian Sellers and focused marketing campaigns that established Amazon as the go-to marketplace for online selling in India.3) Drove Seller Success, Retention & Growth: Led tools, insights and innovations across Seller lifecycle to drive success, retention and business growth for Sellers. Established mechanisms to identify high-potential sellers early in their journey and built personalized ML based experiences to maximize long-term retention.4) Established Marketplace Trust: Setup this function ground-up and instituted mechanisms to detect and mitigate abuse in the Amazon India marketplace. Established a structured approach to address counterfeit, infringement and fraud, while accounting for local marketplace nuances.5) Small Business Empowerment: Led focused programs to nurture DTC Startups (Launchpad), Artisans (Karigar) and Women Entrepreneurs (Saheli). These initiatives positively impacted the lives of 1.8MM+ small businesses across India.6) Amazon SMBhav Summit: Founded the flagship Amazon summit, that brings Small Businesses, Policy Makers and Industry Thought Leaders together, to unlock infinite possibilities for a digital India. Led the 2020 and 2021 editions, with Jeff Bezos and Andy Jassy as the keynote speakers.
