As a lawyer with a proven track record in advocating for social justice and access to justice, I am now transitioning my expertise to public policy and international development. My experience conducting in-depth legal research, drafting impactful petitions, and representing clients before high courts has equipped me with a unique perspective on the intersection of law, policy, and societal change.I have successfully filed public interest litigations and spearheaded initiatives like the petition before the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission, which rehabilitated 281 displaced families. As a founding member of the Path Foundation, I designed and conducted a "Certificate Course on Constitutional Morality," training over 1600 participants, and submitted crucial research findings to the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.My international exposure, including a student exchange program at Monash University and collaboration with Justice Ventures International, has enriched my global perspective and adaptability. I have served as the Academic Representative at LSE, actively contributing to the Student Staff Liaison Committee, and as an editor for newsletters and journals, demonstrating my strong communication skills.My recent MSc in International and Social Public Policy at the London School of Economics has further solidified my commitment to this path. I have submitted a dissertation titled "Enhancing NGO Governance: Addressing Legal Flaws in Registration Processes in Maharashtra, India," which underscores my dedication to improving governance frameworks. I am set to complete my course in September 2024, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the complexities and nuances of policymaking in the international arena.Beyond my professional pursuits, I am passionate about volunteering, having worked with NGOs addressing farmer suicides and organising conferences on refugee issues. I am also an avid traveller and film enthusiast, having coordinated award-winning film projects.I am eager to leverage my legal expertise, policy analysis skills, and international experience to contribute to policy development and implementation within international organizations. My goal is to work collaboratively to create sustainable solutions that promote equity and justice on a global scale.
